What's coming up at Christ Church Sandown

Here is a list of upcoming events and activities:

• Welcome Space every Monday from 11am until 1pm.  Serving refreshments and buffet style lunch.  All are welcome including church members.  

• Freedom in Christ course every Monday at 7pm.

• Art Group every 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 10am to Noon.  Sue Wood and Sue Williams are starting an Art Group.  You don't need any experience - just come with a willing heart.  Painting, drawing, colour pencils and all ... 

• Churchyard clean up every 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 12 noon.  The aim is to make the churchyard a wonderful reflective area in the heart of Sandown for all to find peace and solace.  Please see the photos in Churchyard clean up.

• Men's snooker evening on Saturday 22 March between 7pm and 10pm at Pot Black in Regent Street, Shanklin.  The proposed cost is £5 a person.

• Church breakfast on Saturday 29 March at 10am.

• Film night on Friday 4 April at 6.30pm.  Doors open at 6pm.  The film is free to watch and refreshments are provided at a reasonable price.  The film is 'Moana 2' and here is a summary: After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she's ever faced.  The film scores 86% on the popcornmeter, so it sounds good.

• Prayer morning on Saturday 12 April between 10am and noon.  This is being planned by Carolyn and Grace.  There will be no Zoom prayers that day.  Prayer is an essential part of the ministry and it would be wonderful to see as many there as possible.
