What's coming up at Christ Church Sandown

Here is a list of upcoming events and activities:

• Welcome Space every Monday from 11am until 1pm.  Serving refreshments and buffet style lunch.  All are welcome including church members.

• Art Group every 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 10am to Noon.  Sue Wood and Sue Williams are starting an Art Group.  You don't need any experience - just come with a willing heart.  Painting, drawing, colour pencils and all ... 

• Ride and stride on Saturday 14 September.

• Mother's Union coffee morning on Tuesday 17 September starting at 10.30am and finishing at 12 noon.  This will run in parallel with the Art Group.  There will be an opportunity to help with the children's shoeboxes.

• Alpha is a fantastic course for people who are curious and want to find out more about what Christians believe.  It is also great for those who are new to faith.  A sign-up form and more details can be found in the "I want to know more about being a Christian" page on this site which can be accessed by clicking here.  Alpha starts on Monday evenings from 23 September.

• Film night is on Friday 4 October at 6.30pm.  Doors open at 6pm.  The film is free and refreshments are provided at reasonable prices.  The film is Inside out 2.  Here is a summary: The little voices inside Riley's head know her inside and out - but next summer, everything changes when Disney and Pixar's Inside Out 2 introduces a new Emotion: Anxiety.  The film scores 95% on the popcornmeter so it sounds good!

• Prayer time is on Saturday 5 October at 9.30am.  Tea, coffee and croissants are provided!

• Quiz night is on Friday 11 October at 6.30pm.  This is in aid of Air Ambulance.
