Soul Sessions

WORSHIP - LEARN - PRAY

Do you want to have the opportunity to WORSHIP more than is possible in the service on Sundays? Do you want to LEARN more of what the bible has to say and how to apply it in your life?  Do you want to PRAY with others about the activities of the church and for the Sandown community?  Then Soul Sessions are for you.

We are now in season 1 of the sessions which take place monthly on Wednesdays at 7pm (see dates below) and you don't need to have been to any previous session to come along.  So when are they and what are the themes of the sessions?

What to expect

A time of worship.  We have little time on Sundays to praise God.  The sessions give us a further opportunity to worship God in song, prayer and silence.

A time of learning.  This will have two parts.

•Someone will lead us as we look at a bible passage, but this will be an interactive study where we will all have the opportunity to contribute. The intent is that we will all learn how to get more out of the bible as we share together, gain the tools to study when we are alone and most importantly apply the teaching of the bible to our lives.

•We will then dive more deeply into a topic suggested by the passage we will have examined.  This will be a section where we shall listen and learn. 

A time of prayer.  This will be generally a time of open prayer where we can pray for individuals and areas of the church's work and for our local community.
